Timeless Venetian Plaster Finishes for Home or Business, Serving Chicago, IL

Below is a sample of some of our specialty faux finishes. We also have experience with numerous other paint-based and synthetic plaster faux techniques and are always prepared to experiment for you.

Marmorino, Italian for “little marble” is a modern version of ancient polished stucco. Highly versatile, it provides textures that range from smooth to distressed, from organic to stone-like.

Marmorino Course

An authentic Venetian plaster based on aged slaked lime and finely ground marble dust. Often described as providing a luxurious suede-like effect that can be polished to a reflective shine .

Marmorino Classic

Has an appeal similar to tanned leathers or fine grades of polished on honed sedimentary stone. An Old World stucco, it contains finely-ground marble and aged slaked lime.

Marmorino Carrera

Tuscany creates a “cloudy” Old World look that emulates the texture of antique, honed stone. This plaster can be applied indoors or as an exterior finish.

Tuscany

Tintable, sandable, white-based plaster for interior use to obtain different textures. A wonderful base for washes and glazes which also can provide a more economical alternative to lime based plasters.

Antico

Glazes are a water-based colorant that we use to add depth, color, texture or just plain Old World charm to any plaster or bare wall installation.
